Where are you located?
We are located at 24417 Main St., Newhall, CA 91321.
What are your store hours?
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Is the store accessible?
Yes! The shop is wheelchair accessible. While there are no dedicated handicap parking spaces, parking is available directly in front of the shop with no elevation change between the parking spots and the sidewalk.
Can I order online and pick up in store?
Yes! We offer online ordering with in-store pickup. Please allow us a grace period of 2 hours to have your order ready before coming in to collect it. Please note that some titles may not be available for in-store pickup due to availability or popularity.
Do you have a loyalty rewards program?
Yes! We use Casa Loyalty to reward our customers. Here's how it works:
- Earn 1 point for every $1 spent
- Redeem 100 points for $5 off your purchase
- Receive a $5 birthday reward to celebrate your special day!

Do you buy used books?
We do not buy used books, with the exception of our Mystery Annotator program. Policies for this program will be announced at a later date — stay tuned!
What is your return policy?
We accept in-store returns within 14 days of purchase with a receipt. Returned items must be in their original condition.
If you received damaged merchandise, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
What books do you have available?
We stock Romance, Sci-Fi and Fantasy for all ages! We will stock new books in English and Spanish. If you'd like a book we do not have in stock in any genre, we are happy to order it for you. We also stock book accessories which spark your creative spirit!
Will you stock books from indie authors?
Absolutely!

Does the bookstore offer events?
Yes, we will be hosting a regular schedule of weekly events including author talks, craft nights, book clubs, etc.
If you would like to host an event at the bookstore or would like the bookstore to attend your event as a pop-up, please use the contact us page on our website.
Where should I park?
We have 6 parking spaces directly in front of the store. There is free street parking available on Main Street and a free parking structure across the street from the store (next to Laemmle Newhall). The parking structure has EV slow chargers available.
Note: Parking on Saturday morning is competitive due to the Newhall farmers market.
Will you be stocking any books or products made using generative AI?
NO.
Our opinion is that generative AI has no place in the creative industries. The purpose of the store is to foster human connection and creativity.
